My Thought's on Autumn

The breeze comes lurking down when Autumn comes around the corner and, when it does I feel so alone. As the leaves change colour I feel my summer spirit fade. When the cold sweeps across my face I feel nothing but another lonesome day. I've never been fond of cold and glum but, when Autumns mist comes hauling down from the heavens, I hate It. I hate the cold breeze that freezes my fingers. I hate the leaves that fall and crumple before my eyes. I hate the glum that bring you down, to the deep down surrender of the pain you've been ignoring for so long. I hate Autumn, just because of what it represent, cold and glum and dying.

Clarity

There's a truth we all dread to hear and, there's a lie we all pride ourselves on. I learned what it is during the summer of 2009 last year and, now I'm asking you to think hard and see if you can see the truth, if you can hear the lie. It's hard at first but once you really think about it, it'll become clear to you. You'll see the way society tells itself it's better than everybody else, when the truth is we are all equal. To many this is upsetting; there no longer Miss Popularity, they're equal. In this lie of saying I'm so much better than everybody else we strip away our humanity. We turn to pain and cruelty as a companion. We become bullies, judges from the side lines. We become everything that we shouldn't. We become alien to our own culture. This is the truth we all dread to hear and, the lie we all pride ourselves on.
